Maite Vanhellemont (1990) Based in Amsterdam / Part of OUTLINE platform
Both as a person and as an artist I find it important to engage.
With a feeling, situation, space or person.
To not only meet someone, but exchange something. I attempt to do this by collecting what I see, hear, smell and experience as fragments in the form of images, films and texts.
Therefore you could say that my work starts from a social curiosity which then leads to personal translation.
